Chewy Gooey Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies

Here’s another great brownie recipe if you’re a brownie lover like I am!  There are so many great recipes for brownie recipes out there, how can one be so much better than another…well, as I know, it’s what you put in them!  I also like to think it’s the love you put in them that also counts!  For me, sitting and relaxing with my feet propped up (which rarely happens) relaxing, watching a good movie and a plate of brownies by my side with a giant glass of very cold milk…now that’s almost heaven! lol  This recipe is a little lighter and a little extra gooey, and a very easy brownie to make, even for beginner bakers.

Happy Brownie Baking!

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2/3 cup margarine
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs. Slightly beaten
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup Milk Chocolate chips
1/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:

Heat oven to 350.

Mix flour with baking powder, salt and soda.

In separate bowl pour in melted margarine with sugar stir in eggs and vanilla.

Add flour mixture a small amount at a time until mixed well after each addition.

Stir in one cup chocolate chips and nuts.

Pour brownie mixture in 9×13 pan sprinkle top with more chips.

Bake for 24-30 minutes.  Do not bake too long, every oven is different.

Brownies will be soft like a cookie and chewy.
