Chocolate Crinkles



1 stick butter (softened)

1 and 3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 squares UN-sweetened chocolate (melted and cooled)

2 cups plus 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 cup confectioner sugar



In a large bowl beat butter, sugar, baking powder and salt until fluffy.

Add eggs and beat until mixture is a pale yellow.

Blend in vanilla and chocolate. 

Gradually add flour, then refrigerate for 2 hours or over night.

Roll into 1 and 1/4″ balls and roll in confectioner sugar.

Bake 350 for-12 minutes.
