If you like sticky buns, or cinnamon rolls, your sure to like this sticky buttery sweet and gooey creation. You can have nuts or no nuts, raisins or no raisins, just make it yours and make it ooey gooey yummy…the kitchen will smell heavenly as it’s baking! What a great way to wake up in the moring, Monkey Bread and coffee, or with a big glass of milk!
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
2-3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 cans of buttermilk biscuits, or two grand biscuits
2 sticks butter (1 cup)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts *optional
1/2 cups raisins *optional
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F (you do not have to grease your bundt pan)
Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large zip lock bag and shake till mixed.
Cut all biscuits in four pieces and drop into sugar and cinnamon mixture in bag. Shake until evenly coated and all biscuits are evenly coated.
Melt butter on low on stove and add brown sugar. Cook till both are one color.
Place biscuits in bundt pan and place evenly, be sure to sprinkle nuts and raisins throughout biscuits if you choose to include them.
Pour butter and brown sugar mixture over biscuits and sprinkle a few walnuts on the top. Place in oven and bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
