Pecan Balls “Wedding Cookies”
Ingredients:
1 cup sifted all purpose flour
½ cup soft butter
1 cup pecans (chopped fine)
2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Preheat over to 375 °
Roll dough into balls. Place 1 inch apart on Un-greased cookie sheets, or on parchment paper.
Bake 15-20 minutes…cool
Roll in confectioner’s sugar while slightly warm
Later on…roll a second time in confectioners’ sugar.
